When emotions feel too big, too fast, or hard to recover from—
this is where you start.

Support for children, teens, and adults who get overwhelmed, shut down, or stuck—helping the brain and body stay connected, flexible, and present, even during stress.
You or your child might:

React quickly and intensely—and have a hard time calming down
• Seem anxious, irritable, or constantly “on edge”
• Shut down, withdraw, or struggle to get going
• Have big emotions that don’t match the situation
• Have difficulty listening, thinking clearly, or remembering in the moment
• Do well sometimes—but fall apart under stress

This isn’t about willpower or behavior.

It’s about how the brain and body respond to stress—and whether all the parts can stay connected when it matters most.

When the system detects danger:

• The “Owl” (thinking brain) can fly away
• The “Hippo” (memory and learning) can go underwater
• The body shifts into survival mode
Our work focuses on helping the system stay more connected—so you or your child can respond, not just react.
We use neuroscience-informed approaches like:
• Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
• Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP)
• Safe and Sound in the Sand (experiential therapy)
These services support the nervous system directly—creating the foundation for regulation, connection, and change.
👉 Not sure where to start?

Services are available through therapy (insurance may apply) or regulation coaching (self-pay), with options for in-office or at-home support.

Specialized protocols (like SSP and RRP) include a separate access cost, regardless of how or where services are delivered.

Why This Keeps Happening

When stress levels rise, the brain and body can shift into survival mode.

That’s when reactions get bigger, shutdown happens faster, and it becomes harder to think clearly, listen, or stay present.

This isn’t about behavior—it’s about how the system is functioning in the moment.

How We Support Regulation

Our services focus on helping the brain and body stay more connected during stress—so reactions become more manageable and recovery happens more quickly.

We use approaches like:

• Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)
• Rest and Restore Protocol (RRP)
• Experiential therapies like Safe and Sound in the Sand

How to Access Services

Services can be provided in different ways depending on your needs:

• Through regulation coaching (self-pay)
• In-office or from home with support

We’ll help you determine the best fit.
