Stronger Together:
When Anxiety Impacts Your Relationship

A 6-Week Couples Skills Group

When anxiety shows up in a relationship, it rarely affects just one person. It can influence communication, decision-making, and how partners respond to stress. Over time, couples may find themselves stuck in patterns of worry, frustration, or feeling unsure how to support one another.

Stronger Together is a supportive 6-week group designed for couples who want to better understand how anxiety impacts their relationship and learn practical ways to navigate it together.

You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from this group. Many couples join simply because they want better tools for handling stress and supporting each other while staying connected.

The group draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Narrative Therapy to help couples understand their relationship patterns and begin seeing anxiety as something they can face together rather than something that divides them.

In This Group Couples Will Learn To

• Understand how anxiety affects the brain, body, and relationships
• Recognize common relationship patterns during stressful moments
• Communicate needs more clearly and effectively
• Support each other without feeling responsible for “fixing” anxiety
• Strengthen connection, emotional safety, and teamwork

One of the benefits of the group experience is learning alongside other couples who understand these challenges. Many participants find relief in realizing they are not alone and gain helpful perspectives from others navigating similar experiences.

Couples will never be asked to share anything they are uncomfortable discussing. The focus is on learning practical skills and gaining insight—not putting anyone on the spot.
