About the event
Adoption does not end at placement. For many adoptees, grief, loss, identity questions, and emotional complexity continue across the lifespan. These experiences cannot be “fixed,” but they can be deeply supported.
In this webinar, adoptee and Identity and Parenting Different founder Isaac Etter shares insights from lived experience and years of post-adoption training to explore what adoptees most need from the adults in their lives.
Participants will learn how to reframe behavior through a trauma-informed lens, recognize the ongoing impact of grief and identity development, and understand how curiosity, emotional safety, and relational repair build lasting connection.
